i need help taking off emblems
Well depending on how long those emblems have been on the car there isnt an easy way.... The paint will have faded and unless they are fairly new on the car most likely will take off some paint.... Do not use a wax remover to take off the glue compound.. Ive known people to try this and it will ruin the paint! I have never checked on it but go to a local Auto Body store and ask them if they have anything that would help ease the glue apart and is clear coat safe!!!!
Get some fishin line, "saw" the emblems off, use some Goo Gone to help get the extra off. It'll take a lil elbow grease, all in all, you typically won't see any fade marks.
alright, heres wat i had to do when someone broke off the tails on my fender ponys
first to get a really long extension cord and a powerful hair dryer
u put the heat up all the way and u hold it as close to the emblem as possible, and after awhile start to wiggle the emblem around, u should feel it gettin lose, the time depends on how long the emblems have been on there
after u manage to get both of the emblems off, take some gasoline and pour a tad bit on a rag and wipe the rag over the adhesive that will be left behind on the paint
the gas will lift the glue right off and the paint wont be affected by it
in fact those two areas where u rubbed gas on will be the cleanest spots on ure car
i tried alotta different methods to do it, cause alota my friends r into Ricers and those things and shaving down their cars
i find that the Hair Dryer/Gasoline trick is the best method to use

Don't go through all of that, get some FLOSS, YA KNOW dental floss for your teeth. then slide it until the emblems come off then use the goo gone. Ive done it to my car and a whole bunch of my friends cars that wanted to paint their emblems. Its easier than it seems.
why can't dealers just put those things on cars that don't matter, sports car shouldn't be branded with their crappy company name, WHO CARES! i'm glad my mustang didn't get branded.... all her paint is PERFECT, well WAS! until some jerk power breaked in front of me at a car wash and slug mud all over my car, i was so astonished i couldn't move! i wish i had've gone after him, i may be a girl but that 50 yr old can't run as fast as i can, on foot or in a car!

People are crazy and paranoid these days. You were at a car wash and he slung mud all over it? Just wash it again then.
