Default Please help, Darn birds.

The other day, I washed my car and all went well. The next morning I left to go to work and found a nice present from some flying fowl.

I immediatly wiped it off with a damp rag but found a slight dscoloration in my paint where the spot was. I have since washed and waxed the car using a turtle wax hardshell wax, but the spot remains.

What do I do?

Try to buff it out, if that doesnt work then there isnt really anything you can do about it because bird poop eats the clearcoat [:@]... Ive had bird poop on my car for days and it never left discoloration which is weird since my car is the same as yours.... but yeah try washing it again and buffing it out it should come out if not then the clear coat is completely gone....

If that doesn't work try clay bar.

Good luck, its a B1tch to keep a car looking good when it sits outside at night.

Buy a pellet gun.... I have the same problem. I detail my car every morning to get any off.
I used to have an Accord and a bird **** on it. I left the stuff on there a while and it ate a whole through my paint!
Seriously though buy a pellet gun haha.

A good thing to do is to rub very very lightly a baking soda/water mixture onto the diseased spot untill its gone. birt s*** has acid in it so you want to neutralize it. just make sure you dont try buffing with the poo still there because they eat small rocks to help them digest, this is what justifies the very very light rubbing. then make sure you wash your car since the baking soda water will leave a white mark when the water evaporates, but that just washes off....to keep your shine looking like new, i agree with the pellet gun idea...unless you have bad aim, then you need a 12 gauge to fend off the winged deamons.
