Window Tint Ticket

RE: Window Tint Ticket
The cops in my area are selective in their enforcement. If you have wings ,loud exhaust ,loud stereo,or anything else that calls attention to yourself, you will get a ticket for the tint($140 I think). Then if one isn't bad enough, you will get papered everytime they see you from then on.There are some cars in my area that have 5% and don't get stopped but they are un-modified,no fun cars.I went with legal tint in the GT.

RE: Window Tint Ticket
I am a police officer in Massachusetts. The fine in Massachusetts is 250.00 for illegal tint. A tint meter must be used to determine the % of light penetration. 55% or more is legal in Massachusetts. Everyone gets warnings from me. UNLESS THEY ARE RICERS

Yea my dad was a state trooper and before I thought the tint laws were bull****. Then when we talked about it one day I realized how unsafe it is for them (the cops). He was telling me a story about stopping a guy for illegal tint and the guy had a gun in the glove comp. Had the guy wanted to he could have pulled the gun out and had it waiting on my dad and he would have never seen it. Plus you cant see **** out of anything less than 20 percent.

RE: Window Tint Ticket
Mine are 5% in the back and 20% on the driver and passenger side windows. I just got pulled over the other day for speeding, he let me go on the speeding ticket, and didn't say a word about the tint.
It's probably got a lot to do with what you're doing and how you act when they pull you over. I've had lots of cars tinted and have never gotten a ticket for it.
The law here is NO tint at all on the driver and passenger side window. The rear window can be as dark as you want.

Yeah thats kinda weird, i've gotten pulled over four times in NH where you cant have tint on the driver/passenger windows and i've gotten off everytime. They don't even say a thing. One cop said my rear was too dark and should be 35%... bah to him haha. My fronts are 20% and my rear is 2½%
