Default cleaning valve covers

well if anyones got a high mileage stang like me, they probably cant see the colors of their valve covers. will i got tired of looking at grease so i looked in my kitchen for cleaning tools

i came up with:

sos pads with degreaser/soap built in
terry cloth
degreaser soap and water (mixed obviously)
and a wash cloth

the end result, SHINY NEW VALVE COVERS

now i didnt even take the intake off or anything i just cleaned wherever my little hands would fit so not everything is cleaned, hence why im not taking pictures.. YET

but anyway those sos pads with the degreaser in them worked WONDERFUL. one nice hard whipe and the grease just flies off. i had YEARS AND YEARS of build up. over 154,000 miles on my 302 and she looks pretty much new.

Any elbow grease is good. But for the hard to reach areas.Go to the parts store and get some engine degreaser and engine bright.
