Default Glass Problems

Ive done a search and couldnt find what I needed. The glass on our 93 is in bad shape! Ive tried all kinds of stuff without the slightest hint of it giving up. What ive got is a ton of water spots. They've been on there for who knows how long. Id really like a home remedy or something I can get quick. IM planning on taking the car to a show Saturday and Ive got a guy coming tomarrow to get a dent out so im very limited on time (I still have to bar and wax it!).

Heres a list of what Ive tried so far:

Stoner's invisble glass
Mineral Spirits
Windex
rubbing compound
Zymol Polish
Clay bar
Meguier's Plastx
rubbing alcohol
scotch brite pad
vinegar

Thanks for any help.

Boy, if you didn't let the white vinegar soak -- like laying a paper towel on the glass and keeping it moist for several minutes -- I'd try that again.

I'd follow that with Mothers Chrome Polish, which is also an excellent glass polish/cleaner for interior or exterior glass (but don't use it on window tint film).

If that doesn't work, you could try 0000 steel wool and a lubricant like soapy water -- but that would be a last resort. Follow with that Chrome Polish.

go to the store and buy some bon ami (comet) or something like that and mix it with with some water and make a paste out of it. then take that and scrub on your windows. it takes a little time but it is well worth it. my brother used it on the back window of his truck and it worked great. i have never tried vinegar, but its worth a shot.

The Bom-ami (well knock off brand) did the trick. I cant beleive how good the windows look. I put a coat of wax on them to protect them and they are slicker'an ****. Thanks for all the help. By the way the vinager trick didnt phase it again.
