if u have the extra money get chrome. better wheels less up-keep. and for tires if u want them to grip for the rear get nitto extreme drag...thats what i have and the grip is awesome except in the rain lol.

chrome shines in the shade. I got polished twice and I will never do it again.

I vote polished - I am in the process right now of REPLACING A $500 RIM from curb damage (its chrome). Polished rims can be repaired, assuming the damage is minor - which mine is. Polished rims are not THAT hard to keep clean. Just use a good ole can of Mothers Aluminum polish once a month and you're good to go. Just like Mr Miagi said, wax on - wax off. I've had 3 sets of POLISHED rims in the past with not problems (plus I know how to polish out aluminum if I have to) and I am now wishing my Saleen rims were polished or painted

Yeah I was looking to get new wheels too. Thinking about polished, but with some talk saying chrome is better i don't know[&:]
But it seems like each have thier pros & cons so i would have to go for the cheaper: POLISHED[sm=smiley20.gif]

If you can drive and not hit things like curbs (which are stationary, by the way) you are shouldn't have to worry about the chrome.

Yeah sometimes it just happens, just like when you go up parking to much and here that awful grinding sound.
I want to kill myself sometimes after i do that[sm=headbang.gif]
