NXT, although if you really want a shine try Blackfire.

Another super easy-to-use polish that I buy every year at the NYC Auto Show: www.z-bestcarwax.com

I use it on my triple black '98 GT vert and the "windows" also. Easiest wax I have ever used. Wipe on, wipe off. Absolutely no powder residue whatsoever. Try it!

ClearKote Carnauba Wax is my choice for black. It will leave a very deep and wet look. It can be applied in the sun and has no residue. Easy on/easy off.

I use P21S on mine (it's black) and it has been the best to date with the exception of Pinnacle Souveran. Of course at $32 it's half the price of Souveran!! P21S is a carnuba paste wax and easy to put on/take off. Just NEVER try it in the sun.

I've used Black Magic Liquid Wax on my '07 Redfire after reading a lot of positive reviews about it's easiness to apply and worthwhile results. But I actually would never recommend it to anyone. I think a good bit of the wax comes off everytime I wash it (mostly because I can smell its nasty cherry scent), and for a synthetic wax, that's not very durable. The stuff is too cheap. Not only that, but the paint was noticeably hazier, even after I spent hours carefully buffing it out. Don't use it.

You might have different results with a black car, but I doubt it. I wouldn't waste your $7.

As important as what to use, it's how you use it! Make sure you are waxing your car properly, or any wax will cause swirls. If you're having a big problem with swirls, it's probably not the wax, but how you are doing it.
