Bug removal.

i have major bug residue on my car what is the best method to remove them? i have used bug and tar remover didnt seem to help.

diesel fuel.....put on rag and clean....have bucket of soapy water so you can wash off
.....this should work....does for me.......

A really fine 3m rubbing compound followed up with some wax.

It's the only thing that seems to work on my Cobra & Titan.

would you suggest to use that on the whole car and then do a nice wax job?

I just used a clay bar kit to remove a lot of marks off the front of my car. I know most of these marks were made by friendly flying insects that greeted me on my drive back from Arkansas. It seems to have done the trick. There are no more marks.

did you zoom in on my picture i posted? thats how bad mine is would you say yours was worse or better? if so i will get the clay bar kit i have been looking at getting a clay bar kit anyway.

I actually just use a dryer sheet with soap and water. Its abrasive enought to pull the bugs off, but wont scratch the paint. Wax will help protect but not really remove once the damage has been done.

That's pretty major bug damage. Mine wasn't that bad. I had what looked like scratches on my hood. Those marks came out easy. My bumper had a couple of bug marks left over after washing and those came out as well. Hope you find something that works....
