I don't have a problem with the water puddling under the scoop. Just in those stupid honeycomb holes.
CDN_Rhino, that looks kool, but that will definately not stop water from pooling in the scoop. I am looking for a solid flat piece of something. Maybe I could get a polished piece of stainless cut to fit, and glue it somehow. What do you all think?

Do you or a friend have access to a milling machine. You can take a solid piece of stainless steel or aluminium with a pattern of shallow blind holes. Paint it black and then clean the paint off the face so it will give the impression that air can flow threw it. Then put a rubber seal around it.

OR park so your rear end is higher than your front end.

I just [:@]curse [:@]alot and clean up the water as it runs out of the scoop like snot out of a kid's nose!!!!!

Today I took out my honey comb insert, and tomorrow I am going to start making my own out of S.S. mesh....same as the link I posted. It should be no prob. I have all the tools at work and I have the mesh. Hope it goes smooth. Next I'm going to exchange those ugly side scoops for GT ones.

I just finished it an hour ago, I'm at work right now but I'll post some pics in about 3 hours...... 4:00 Detroit time. It was hard tig welding the bolt ends on to the mesh but it is done except maybe alittle grinding to fit it in.

Looks great! Won't you have the same problem with water getting in the scoop as you did with the honeycomb? With that screen, it will pass all the way into the scoop!
Anyway, are you selling them? Are you going to make matching ones for the side scoops?
