Would you guys recommend using this on a black car? I've heard never to use a buffer on black paint, so I'm very hesitant. Will it swirl? Any risks? I mean, EVERY LITTLE DETAIL shows on my black GT as it is, and I've never used a buffer before so I don't want to screw up and do something to the paint that I won't be able to correct! Thoughts?
it's great, just follow the tutorials

porter cable 7424
Looks like something I'll definitely invest in. Lots of information though, so what I'm curious about now is, since I've never used one and my Mustang is only two months old (remember, it's black) and the paint still looks new except for a few rock chips, bug juice, and a door scrape (no dent, just a paint rub) from some fat old hag that needed MY car as a stabilizer to help her get out of hers......what kind of pads should I buy with the porter cable? I intend to take a clay bar to the car, then use whatever meguiars products are recommended (NXT for sure), but what pads and bonnets should I order?

Also, I found the Porter Cable 7424 online, and then I also found that Meguiar's has a G100A. They both look very similar, but is one better than the other? Do you recommend either one more than the other? Remember, I'm a complete beginner when it comes to buffers/polishers, so the first time I use one will be a real learning experience and I don't want to jack up my pristine black paint on my new GT. Thoughts?
