reverse tilt hood
Has anyone seen a kit or a how to on doing a reverse tilt hood?
Like the old vets. I dont want the fenders to move or anything, just the hood.
Im still not sold on the idea, thought it might be interesting though...something different.

yeah i like that idea.
mayb if u took the hinges and and put them on the front of the hood and got those little things that lock the hood on the outside[dont know what theyre called] and took that stick and mounted it by the back of the hood then i shouldnt see why it wouldnt work...

yeah, Im liking it more and more as I talk about it. We are having a good discussion about it in the 6er section.

My only thoughts for the reverse hood idea is #1 Do you want to look like a GM car, #2 how hard is it going to be to work on the engine and #3 when i show my car I want people to see whats under the hood from a distance instead of having to walk over and peer around the hood. I think the car shows much better with the hood the way it is. A set of hood struts looks hot tho instead on that stupid prop rod. Just some food for thought.
