Default Need help with water spots

I have water spots all over my windows (front and side). I read a thread on here before about how to remove them. I tried using vinegar and it did'nt work. I tried using the real fine steel wool (#0000) and it didnt work. I also read i could polish them. How would i go about polishing them? I was thinking of using the mothers ball (aka foose ball) and try to polise them out. Cany anyone help me by letting me know what i should use and how i should go about doing it?

You know what really worked for me was Eagle One's Never Dull wading polish that is for wheels. Comes in a little silver can. That took mine right off.

I have tried the steel wool, the sharp razor, the vinegar and nothing has worked. Its a 93 and the owner before me kept good care of it but basically disregarded caring for the glass. Seems like everything i try doesnt even take any of the waterspots out. I will try that Never Dull by eagle one. I thought the only way that i could get them out would have to get a buffer/polisher and polish them out. That Eagle One stuff, is it pretty self explanatory in how to do it.

Clean them on a cool night with Stoner's invisible glass cleaner. Use a microfiber cloth to clean it.

Funny thing is i actually have that stuff. I tried that. I used micro fiber towel and it didnt work then tried newspaper. Its like nothing is working. Just went and got some of the Eagle One Nevr Dull and that didn't work either [:@]. I dont know what else to try except to polish the windows. Anyone got any other suggestions? Its like there deep down or something, everything i try is bringing nothing. Dont get me wrong, its cleaning the glass, but those water spots just wont go away.

Best thing I know of is undiluted vinegar, steel wool and some elbow grease. If that doesn't work glass polish and a buffer may. Or you may have luck with some mineral spirits, or that CLR stuff, but be very careful with it.

If none of that works, then it's not water spots.

if they are waterspots that look like they have been on there for quite a while then go to the store and get some bon ami or comet and mix it with water to make a paste out of it. then you can scrub that on the windows and it will take them off. it will take some time and elbow grease but it works really well.

I had a concern of my own regarding water spots. Instead of mine being on the windows, mine runs all along the passenger side. My dad has tried practically everything (so he says) to get these things out. What should I do? Go with ryan's suggestion?
