I have a yellow 98 GT with a white top. It is starting to fade and discolor REALLY badly. Does anyone have an idea what I can use to clean it with, and bring it back to a bright white again?? Any help will be GREATLY appreciated

 

clorox makes things white.....

 

NoOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....Don't use straight bleach, you will damage your top and dry it out. If anything mix it half and half with water. Depending on what kind of material your top is , you can go to your local marine store and buy some canvas cleaner and restorer. I used it on my black top and it really brought the color back out. Even with my top being black when i cleaned it with that cleaner the rag was absolutely filled with dirt and who knows what. I can't remember the brand ill let you know when i get home, but if you let me know what kind of top you have i'll let you know what product to use.

 

+1 on the no Clorox.....that will ruin the top, not only will it dry it out, but it will eat away the threading (around the edges)

 

Ummmm....I guess you would say it's like a rag top? Not really sure what you mean, it's almost like a vinyl it's not a cloth top...thanks
