I was wanting to know how low i could lower my 96 GT with out giving it the totally slamed look and the tires not rubbing. I have saleen rims 18x9 in front and 18x10 in the rear. Also what are the best springs to get? thankx for the help

 

Im gonna chime in and say that I like the steeda sport springs for their drop, price, and ride quality for the type of spring it is. Best bang for the buck IMO, but your not gonna get a "slammed look from them". You wont have any open space in your front wheel well though, and you'll have a tad in the rear still

 

My buddy has a mustang with a 4' body drop but I persinally wouldn't drop it that far I'd do either 2 or 3 inch just to be safe.

 

2 is plenty.
