Default RE: Best car polish?

Just thought I'd put my two cents in this conversation. First of all correct me if I'm wrong but the detailing professionals I know told me that the type of wax you should use depends on the type of paint on your car. Usually a good carnuba wax works best on older paint. But on newer synthetic paint it doesn't work as well. I believe that synthetic wax works best on new synthetic car paint. I use Meguiars gold class wax which actually has a little carnuba but not much. It has the best shine I have ever seen, but takes a little work to spread the oils over the paint after wiping the wax away. For polishing and sealing I use a brand called Race Glaze Polish Sealant which is very easy to put on and take off. -Andrew

I like to go with a synthetic sealant first. Then I layer it with a curnuba wax. It gives it an unbelievable shine and awesome reflection. There is no reason why you can't use carnubas on new paint. It is really just your personal preference. Synthetic sealants are getting very popular though.

I read thru all the posts and I can't believe no has mentioned Zaino.
http://www.zainostore.com/
By far this is the most premier polish available. They have a full selection of products from inside and out.
Check out this link above, and don't forget to view the photos that have been submitted.
I have been using Zaino for 18 months and have detailed 6 vehicles.
Wash your car with any liquid dish soap (this will remove any wax).
Rinse and dry.
Use a clay bar to remove all impurities laying on the surface.
Rinse and dry.
Apply Zaino.

Get it out. You won't be dissatisfied.
