Painting interior trim

im trying to take of the trim around the radio so i can paint it. i have a 95 gt, and the trim wont come off easy and i dont want to break it. anyone know how... i have allready taken out the 2 screws below the radio. thanks for the help. of and its a cd and tape player if that matters... and does anyone think this is too tacky

he's not talking about the dash trim... he's asking about the radio face... which is extremely hard because of the glue they use... if you pull the wrong way you'll snap that cheap plastic... if you REALLY want to paint it I'd wrap your ***** and buttons and screen in foil or cling wrap and then paint it.

Hey man if you want to paint the interior do you have a stick or automatic I just got done painting mine a little while ago and now Im getting it re-painted with the same paint their painting my car with let me know I can help.

ill admit it on my old celica my painted interior looked good. I would never paint the interior on my mustang though. I've seen it done before and It just cheapens the look. But that's just my opinion i think people have the right to do anything they want to their car, its a form of art. Who's anyone to tell you what to do and what not to do to your car, so ill just keep my mouth shut. what color is your car and what color are you painting it?
