Default So yeah... Greenville, SC?

I live in Greenville, SC and was wondering where I can find some of you mustang punks j/k

I moved here from OH, and I wanted to know where people go on weekends to show off their car/race/bs...

My brother-in-law wants to buy a 5.0 and I'd like to show him what they look like close up and how they sound (headers, flowmaster, cutout?)

Let me know, I'd like to run some GT's to see where I stand... 13.7 would be good competition for those of you that aren't heavily modded right?

>04 GT's ...

Can't help ya a whole lot, unless you wanna come down here to 'Bama.....but yes, 13.7 is about what the new Mustang is capable of running in the 1/4 stock. Gotta remember that that's a good driver, driver mod is the biggest key to the whole thing. 99-04 GT's with a few mods can hang with that also.

Anyone in the area? I know I see a bunch of mustangs on the road, but I've only raced a v6 before. It wasn't even fair.

I just traded in my heavily modded 2001 Grand Prix GTP for a 2005 Mustang GT Convertible... kicking myself for not doing it sooner!!
Almost bought a GTO instead but the convertible factor sold me.

I live in Charlotte.

What all did you have done to your GTP?

I have a GTP mainly because I'm working at paying off some school debt. I'd like a mustang to fool around with, but I just don't have the funds/time to do so.

Had a few nice mods to the GTP, nothing crazy:

- 3.4" SC Pulley Upgrade
- Upstate Performance CAI
- 3" DP w/out cats
- 1.8 rockers
- Alky
- Ton of aesthetic mods

She was pretty tired and the new job allowed me to step up to real muscle, my new '05 GT stang vert.

I just got promoted, but it really doesn't mean anything until the school/wife's car is paid off! After that, we'll see where I go regarding a new car.
