I have been using an industrial window cleaner on my limo tinted stang...i heard a lot about an ingredient that effects the tint and i checked the bottle...sure enough there it was ammonia. So on my next Pep Boys trip i picked up the Meguires NXT Glass Cleaner that is safe for tint. After I tried it out...although it smelled nice it didnt impress me as much as the industrial cleaner. Anyway has anyone used a good glass cleaner thats safe for tint?

I really like Mothers Glass Cleaner... ammonia-free so it's safe for tint, and it seems to have a high alcohol content as it's about as streak-free as I've ever used. I do like a plush terry cotton towel for cleaning (spray on the towel) and a second towel for light buffing until dry... takes care of the glass in short order. Very plush microfiber seems to work pretty good, too, but I tend to be partial to cotton for glass.
