Vertical doors?
how exactly do those doors open though? I mean the sites I saw use the old door latches, so do you first have to open the door a bit and then slide it up? Or is there another way? Just wondering before I get too attached to the idea of lambo doors.
one more question, where would I be able to find more information on targa tops too? how expensive are they to intall, and how much do you have to worry about the integrity of the actual car since you no longer have a roof on a car that was designed to have one?

Hey BigBad, did you install your doors yourself? I found this site that has manual and automatic doors, have you heard anything about them? I was considering getting the automatic ones this spring, but I had questions as to wether they would work with my vert.
hey tim. no, i didn't personally do them myself. i was at the shop for a while to watch them install the doors. like i told ron, there is no direct bolt on kit. even after installation. the kit needs to be tweaked for proper alignment and what not. decah.net, mrbodykit.com, and autoloc sell the kits that you linked to. i don't see any problems installing them on your vert. if i had enough cash, i would've gone with the automatic ones myself. go for it.
It's actually a single top, and it will fit in the trunk only if the rear seats are folded in. The kit comes with tie downs to secure the top in the trunk. You can check out the kit at http://www.jmsproductsinc.com/
The structural integrity of the car will be fine with a targa top as long as you tie up the subframe (good subframe connectors). If you don't tie up the subframe you might have some problems, but in general it is always a good idea to tie up the frame on a mustang anyway.
