I would have to agree with everyone else on here putting emblems on your car that it is not what it says it is=stupid, but then again when people make there car look like a saleen they don't get flamed, to answer your question some emblems are rivoted on so it would be a little harder to replace them, and then some emblems are just "stickied" on which they are not hard to replace. I would say if your going to put them emblems on then at least get the rest of the body parts to match it, JMO. I personally like the look of the cobras better, and don't see anything wrong with making your car look like one, but putting badges on your car saying its something its not, well it's kind of like putting a chevy symbol on your car.
People also put cobra bumpers on their car as well, they won't get flamed as long as they don't start putting the EMBLEMS on the car..

Did you just say a cobra is just a rebadged V6/GT and nothing special??? That is one of the most ridiculous things I ever heard.

P.S. I would have to agree with you that the resale on Cobra's is high though, and a little to much.

Have you seen a 99-01 car ???

Looks like a GT to me, thats why the where the biggest failure next to a the Cobra II years. Ford came real close on the 03-04 cars with lots of one off parts the made the gap bigger between the v6/GT cars.

So I stick with what i say, Cobra is rebadged V6/GT body with high insurance VIN #.

I have laser red thats 1 of 330 made and not worth beans.............

So its fine with me to put snakes on anything uyou want, free world out there !

Guess I am a poser for making a GT car look like a V6 car ???

Don't get me wrong here the 99-01 cobras were a waste in my opinion also, but still its the motor, interior, outside body, suspension, etc. that makes it a cobra, ford declared it a cobra, and its registered and was designed to be a cobra by ford. It's not a cobra because of an emblem. 4v vs. 2v, the 4v will be more responsive to mods and also they come stock with more horsepower/torque, the late 90's early 00's cobra was just a better model that the average guy not looking to mod anything could have more power to compete with all the other sports car that were out, and also you have to think like the insurance people (bigger motor, more power, more torque) thats why it cost more money to insure, they don't consider that a v6 can be built to be just as fast, and even if it is most insurance places will not cover the parts if damaged unless you tell them you have all the extra parts which will cost you more money anyways, and resale on cobras is high compared to the gt, ESPECIALLY IF ITS IN GOOD CONDITION. A car is rarely ever an investment, cobras seem to hold there value rather well compared to alot of cars IMO. And a pony emblem is just a mustang in which your car is a mustang, you can't compare a "mustang/pony" emblem to a cobra emblem, but do whatever you want it is your car, and if you like it I guess that’s all that matters.

I wouldn`t put on cobra emblems. It`s not a cobra. Alot of people on this forum would say the same.
People will laugh at you.

...if I didn't have Roush badges, I've had this great idea of putting a question mark ? badge on the fender, cause 9 out of 10 times something has been upgraded on the car/engine so that way your not stepping on anyones territory and it's unique. If you steal my idea...........well, then only one other person has it. I've just yet to see the ? badges...I'm sure someone has them for sale.
