i have an 86 GT and i was just wondering how different is the body style? i know the nose is way different but do the tail lights from an 87-93 fit? body kits? anything?

 

ALL WILL FIT FROM A 87 WHY CHANGE THE FRONT i LIKE THE 86 LOOK

 

o i wasnt going to change the front, but i was rear ended not long ago and now i have a borken tail light. every parts cataloge i look in they have lenses for 87-93 but not 86. i dont wnat to buy any unless i know they will fit. i cant imagine they changed that much in the rear.

 

There's always a couple guys on ebay selling 86 GT&SVO tail lights. Just do a search on "86 Mustang" They bolt up the same, just the layout of the lenses are different.

The later lights will bolt right in, as will the bumper. The molding that runs around the bumper is different though.
