Default Pedal Covers?

So I got these http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS Pedal covers for my car. Well when they were put on the person who put them on screwed them up and the lip that is supposed to go over the pedal is all messed up, so the one for my clutch came off, Now i'm going to order a new one, anyone who's got these, how did you put them on? Did you use anything?

put my oo ntoday...i found the best way to do it was put some hand soap in the pedals....put on some thin leather gloves and slip the pedals on....after trying an hour of the boiling technique...this way took me less than 5 minutes..
