Hey guys, I'm gonna go pick up some spray paint to spray the plastic and metal trim on my 'stang, it's gotten sunfaded and I'm tired of looking at it. I've heard to go with a semi-gloss black. But how am I going to know if it's for metal or for plastic? Will it say it right on the can? What would you guys suggest, I'll be getting the paint from the hardware store.

 

Most paint is made for metal. No matter what you get get a primer to go with it and you wont have to worry about what material your painting.
