Default Pin stripes

I guess that is what you call them, they were on the car when I bought it. They are little strips that go from the front fender to rear fender, than down the side scoops, and down the door. They are black and look pretty good on my black car, and I was gonna get some black deep dish bullitts to go on the car because I thought it would look tight. Anyways, I was thinkin of maybe takin them off because on the passenger side above the side scoop it is starting to peel, but I'm afraid if I peel them off than sticky stuff and dirt and grime is gonna be left. What would be the best thing to clean it off with or take the stripes off with? I think a plain silver car would look good with the right rims, but I just wanna make sure I get the whole stripes off on both sides and clean off the grime and dirt. Thanks

I had the same stripes. I used goo gone (not goof off) to get mine off and then followed with a wash and wax. Looks great now. Way to go on the black deep dish wheels, theres a black gt in my neighborhood that has them, and it looks amazing.

Goo Gone, 3M adhesive Remover, Bug & Tar Remover will work. All will take the wax off, so you have to re-wax!

So are you trying to say these products are bad, or they are good? I'm confused,

No, those are great products. When you take off your stripes, use a hair dryer. Heat up the stripes and they should just peel off. Use one the those products and the sticky adhesive should come right off.
