Ok what grain of sand paper do I need to sand down a GT hood

depends...

Skuffing the paint to paint over = 600 gritt

If there are marks, etc in the hood, sand down with 120 and then 400 then primer and 600.

GT, proche, sunfire hood..its all the same.
