Default Cleaning up the engine bay?

I recently aqquired a 83 mustang from my uncle, after tearing down the interior I've decided to tackle the engine bay, i've got everything(wires ,Hoses) pulled outta the engine bay and it looks to need some heavy sanding/grinded as its pretty rusted up , so that i can paint it. here is a pic http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=3527905

I was things of using a dremel with grind stone and sanding accesories, but that is gonna take a hell of a long time, so let me know what you guys think i can do.

Try using is wire brush, steel wool, in combination with the dremmel. Time and elbow grease to make it look good.
