Default Removing Decals

I have a black 99 mustang, and it's got these two yellow decal stripes on the hood (bought it that way). I was wondering what the best way to remove decals is without damaging the paint? Would it be best to peel them off or is there some sort of decal remover that I could use?

Use a hair dryer to heat up the deal and use a piece of fishing line to peel it back. Work it slow and heat it up as you go. You'll have some of the glue residue left on, but you can get that to come off. I suggest using 3M Adhesive remover or goof-off. You will have to wax that area again.

+1. A heat gun is ideal but a hair dryer will work just fine. Just remember to be patient when you're removing them.
