I carrry Poorboys SSR1 or ClearKote Vanilla Moose hand glaze that will work for light swirls.

You could also tryout Megiuars Scratch X if you wanted to go over the counter.

+1 Meguiar's ScratchX

After you use it, follow it up with Meguiar's Mirror Show Glaze!

Hope it helps

Yes, use the mirror glaze on the whole hood to match. Before you do that, use the ScratchX on the area you have swirls. Polish the rest of the hood. Second mirror glaze the whole hood. Follw that up with whatever wax combo you use.

Isn't the problem with ScratchX or any filler product is that you have to reapply from time to time, because it doesn't repair the scratches just temporally fills them? I am not knocking them just asking.

Polishes and swirl removers are basically the same product. They contain tiny abrasives that dull the sharp edges of scratches and swirls so they do not catch light. When a grain of sand scratches your paint, it creates jagged or sharp edges in the clear coat that are evident when light reflects off of them. The abrasives wear down those tiny edges so the swirl or scratch disappears. These abrasives are too small to scratch your clear coat or single stage paint.

A glaze is a shine-enhancing product that goes on after polishing but before the wax or sealant. It is made with oils and wetting agents that amplify your paint's shine and improve the clarity. Glazes generally do not have protective qualities, but they may have fillers that hide any slight imperfections in the paint.

So, the answer is yes. Most of us here polish cars one to two times a year or more. The glaze just helps!
