I plan on getting a new hood and want to know of a good body shop in south Florida that will install and paint it for me. I also need a few dings (stupid kids throwing rocks at my car...) to be fixed. I don't really mind a drive, so I'm looking at anywhere between Florida City and Ft. Lauderdale. If anyone here has really liked a place, let me know! Thanks.

Allen is the guy's name who owns the place and his work is show quality. I've seen some of the stuff he builds and he knows how to do it old school and correctly. They are just off of I-95, north of Commercial Blvd. Not sure what his rates are but I'll vouch for his work if you want it done right.

 

As much as I'd love for it not to be expensive, I'll throw in some extra bucks to get it done right. I'm not too worried then about the price. Thanks a bunch for suggesting him! I'll check out the place soon.

No problem. I grew up in the paint and body industry and know good work when I see it. Several years ago, he built a 1970 El Camino SS with a big block that was unfreakingreal - all black and not a wave or orange peel to be seen. He is a car nut who works on cars but also owns a body shop. He got 23k for it before the muscle cars started to get silly money for them. Anyhow, good luck with it and let us know how it goes.
