Clay bar on black paint

Clay bar on black paint

So my new stang is black. Is it ok to use a clay bar?? My old stang was silver and the clay bar worked just fine. I'm just worried 'cause black shows like every little scratch and swirl mark.

It will help your car. Just be sure to have plenty of spray on the car before you start barring it.

I've got a black 05 GT. I've used a claybar on it. Just be sure you use plenty of lube.

ok good. I really like what the clay bar did for my 98 GT. I'm just gonna clay it, polish and then wax it.
