Periodic winter cleaning
Well winter has just blown in....We got a massive snow storm here which caked 1" of ice over my mom's Plymouth Acclaim (thank god both of our stangs were in the garage!). It took over an hour just to get the door open, clear the windows, and get it ready to drive.. However, I still have to drive my stang to work and school and such...Which brings up this question.
How can I clean the beast in the garage? Let's say I just get home and want to clean up some of the dirt/muck along the side. Is there a way to give it a good, thorough rub down to keep it a bit more sanitary, without having to do a full blown cleaning? I want to keep the paint/body in relatively good condition by taking care of it during the winter. Any suggestions?

Check out Optimum No Rinse over at obsessivedetail.com. Its a carwash and all you need is 2 or 3 gallons of warm water to wash your car. Several professional detailers on another message forum use this product. Check out juztang's site (obsessivedetail.com) and click on the OPT link and scroll down. You'll see it. Optimum makes some great products. Poorboy's also makes some stuff thats similar called Spray & Wipe. Personally i'd rather have the Optimum. Give juztang a shout. He's fast on shipping, and he's got the best prices.
