Looking for some ideas for the 85 I'm buyings interior. I'll post a current pic. Looking for guage placement and all that sort of thing. I'm not real happy with the way the guages are mounted now. Please add pics if you have any. TIA

Thanks for the reply. Cobra seats sound expensive LOL. I don't want to do the a-pillar pods, seems everyone has them. Looking to put the in the dash someplace or redo where they are currently. What about in the dash on the passenger side? Like where the airbag would be if the car had one. Would they be too hard to read ya think?

If you good with making things you can take a guage pod for the a-pillar set it sideways and mount it on your dash but thats it you are willing to drill into your dash for the wireing. As far as seats you can get any kind of racing seat you just have to make your own mounting brackets thats what I had to do for my stang. There is a spots shop that was gonna have them made for me for only $80 but I like doing stuff my self.

 

yeah an a-piller and look at APC seat their not bad or that expensive

 

I was eyeballing some APC seats...pretty nice. The current seats don't bother me much. Keep in mind I'm use to riding in a Jeep..anything is an improvement LOL. I've been trying to find someplace for the tach too. It's current position makes turning the key a hassle. I'd love to replace the OEM guages with Autometer tach and speedo but that will be a winter project. Any other ideas??
