Shorty Antenna:
Has anyone ever used one of these? Looks pretty cool, I hate taking my antenna off everytime I put my car cover on. Here is one I found on google:

Will this work as good as the stock antenna?

 

Why buy that when you can just cut your stocker? Just remove your ball, cut your antennae to length, taper the new end and glue your ball back on.

 

Cool, I think I might just buy that one though, so I still have my stock antenna when my lease is up. Thanks for the fast response though! This is the first time I've used this forum, lots of cool ideas on here!

 

I just took mine off and left it off.... Looks better and I listen to CD's anyways...

 

Get the billet antenna then break off the antenna part it looks awesome!!!!! thats what happened to my and it looks awesome! also radio sucks listen to cd's

 

I have that shoty antenna you are talking about. The reception is equal to stock and looks soo much better.

 

i just unscrewed mine and cut about 6 inches off. took a paint marker to the nicks and voala! shorty antenner. radio comes in just as good as before.
