Engine Bay Clean Up

hey,
i did a search, but i still have some questions.

What are the steps on cleaning the engine bay?
is there stuff just for hoses and rubber for engine bays?(stand the heat and wont wat away the material)
what is good to use on the intake manifold?

does PoorBoy's carry any engine cleaning stuff?

I use a mix of simple green and water then hit it with CD-2

Amazon.com sells it. Google CD-2, and there is an automotive parts store that carries it as well.

CD-2 is an engine detailer. You spray it on the entire engine bay after you clean and degrease it. I highly recommend it.

Two thumbs up for CD-2. The stuff is like tire foam but meant for the engine bay. Get it degreased and cleaned first, the coat with CD-2 and you WON'T be disappointed.
