It really just depends on personal preference. There a lot of good "over the counter" products like Megiuars and Mothers.

I carry a few brands that you can't get over the counter and also produce excellent results and are very easy to use. I carry Poorboys World,ClearKote,Optimum, Stoner,Lake Country pads, and Porter Cable polishers. All of these are very popular on the detailing forums.

All of the waxes and polishes I carry can be put on in the direct sunlight, have no residue, and come off very easy.

Are you looking for waxes, polishes, interior stuff, or like a kit with everything in it?

A kit would be optimal.

Ok, I have a couple kits I put together with the popular Poorboys Products. I sell a lot of these kits and everyone has been blown away by the results. Here is a link. Scroll down to the bottom the page for the kits:

The website actually takes credit and debit cards too! I also accept money orders.

It doesn't get much easier than that.

There are tons of products out there and for the most part they all boil down to an opinion.
Do a little research and deciede what you want to accomplish on your vehicle.
The kit with a Porter Cable gets you everything at once and you can get started right away.

Best of luck.

It sort of depends on what you are attempting to accomplish.
If it is just some surface dirt, you can try several things.
1) Woolite mixed with water, I think about 10 parts water to one part Woolite (10:1). You can go stronger if you need.
2) An All Purpose Cleaner (APC) cut 10:1.
3) Fabric / carpet cleaners.
4) "Folex" fabric / carpet cleaner cut 10:1 to start with.

Agitate with a nylon brush and vacuum with a wet/dry vac with the filter removed to extract.

Everything Stickman mentioned I use also. The Woolite works great for interior. I use a ton of that. I also use a lot of Folex. It can get almost any stain out.
