how to clean my car

RE: how to clean my car
For winter time I highly recommend using the Optimum No Rinse wash. I use this all of the time now and don't hardly ever do conventional washes anymore.
If there is a lot of grime I pressure wash that off or take it down to the heated car wash to remove and then come back and do the No Rinse wash. I use one bucket with the solution and another bucket for the rinse water. You just do one panel at a time and dry with a microfiber. I usually add really warm water to the buckets to. The No Rinse has polymers in it that encapsulate the dirt so it doesn't scratch the paint. It is really an awesome product.

Eh, my car was covered in salt and mud and other various crap. I stopped at the car wash, had a cup of coffee and the Mexicans cleaned it all up nice.

Anyway, I will admit that washing your car in the winter sucks, but I did it for the first time last weekend. It was 30 degrees and the wind gusted to like 20 mph. I was washing it in one of those washing bays, so the wind was pretty much kept off of it, except for the hood. (the hood kept getting ice on it, making it really hard to dry) If you can stand the hour of torture given to your hands, you will be able to wash your car in that weather. It suckes, but it is soooo nice to have a black car looking good again! O, and if you do have access to an automatic car wash, friggen take it! It'll bemuch less painful
