I think I might get the roush side exhaust system with a Cobra R front bumper. But I have heard that black crud can build up along the rear fender with side exhaust. Is this true? Ifso, and you have the exhaust system is it much of a problem? Also, does it sound good?

 

the exhaust sounds awsome. i have a yellow stang with it and there def is some black stuff that gets on the back but comes off very easily when i wash my car, but i wash it once a week so that may help

 

I had the Roush side exhaust on a 97 Cobra I had. The look was awesome and it sounded even better. You will get a little build up but if you maintain the car it will just wash off. It you let it build up a claybar will take off the residue.

I had the cats removedand just let it breate striaght through some flows right out the side, it's awesome to blast the ricers right in their ears when I scream by.

There is a slight build up on the back, but no big deal.

 

I have the side exhaust on my s197 by cervini and i have a white stang obviously but i get a little bit of build up but most of it on my exhaust tips but i just have a good layer of wax and it wipes right off and my set up is a bit different but ive seen that set up and it looks awesome.

 

I love it a little residue but not bad. They sound awesome and personalopinion look great. A good coat of wax makes removal easy.

 

Here is a pic of the exhaust photo shopped onto my car. After seeing this i'm definatly getting it.
