when i bought the car there was a stain in the carpet behind my drivers seat...i didnt let it bother me because i really wanted the car...well now its kinda getting to me...its in the carpet pretty bad, and its thick...almost like someone spilt soda on the carpet during a test drive, i say that because its a different texture (kinda) when you touch it...just thicker, i know its not from a passanger because i NEVER let food/drink in the stang...anyone have any ideas? thanks i can get pics if needed

I would go get some Folex to treat the stain. You can get it at Lowes or Walmart. Just spray it on and let it sit for a few minutes and then come back with a brush and agitate the area. Then wipe off with a damp microfiber or terry cloth towel.

You can also get Woolite and dilute it between 7-10:1 7:1 for worse stains and 10:1 for light cleaning.
