looking to buy a porter cable

Default looking to buy a porter cable

i have been doing some research on them and porter cable has new and refubised buffers im not sure if the refubised is any good i know juztang sells them on his web site and there are a few other places that sell them. just wondering has anyone bought a refurbished one and if so was it ans good as a new one would be

I got a new one from Lowe`s in the tool section for $89.00 on sale. Its a different number than the ones on line. but its the same machine

They are built to last and I say if the price is right go for a refurb as they may have been just something someone didn't want and returned it and they have to send it back to the company they test it and give the O.K. stamp and sell it for less as the box was opened....it can be that simple and it is like you are getting a near new one. JMO

Is that a high speed orbital? If not, it will only be good for putting on sealants and waxes. It won't be powerful enough to do any paint correction.

i have a 10 inchwalmart buffer but i only use that to take the wax off the car
