i talked to a guy at auto zone last night and he said that it will do the same as the regular but i was not gonna buy that excuse he was just trying to make a sale
It's always good to know someone's experience with a particular product when assessing his alleged expertise. Has he tried the two side-by-side?

I just dont see how a product calling itself a liquid claybar could do any beter than a claybar. I dont see how it would pull stuff out of the paint like a claybar would.

It's extremely easy. As long as the car is clean and you use enough lubricant you'll be fine. Just simple common sense type stuff, like if you drop it on the ground in a pile of sand, throw it out. Make sure the car has been just washed thoroughly and is clean. The only way to damage the paint is if you don't use enough lubricant and you're draging a lot of grit across the paint. You won't have a problem, it's a very simple process.

Yes. Traditional clay bars are all used the same way... here's a helpful little video that explains it... http://www.mothers.com/reelworld/mothersclay.html

I've heard of people doing it with the car wet and even while they're washing the car. I wouldn't and never have. I think it would be more thorough to dry it off though and then use either a quick detailer as lube or a spray bottle with soap and water in it.

I have been using the liquid clay bar. I can tell a big difference...but that might be because it looks like the first serious detail job the car has ever had[>:]. I can see streaks(cleanest part)were I used my fingers instead of my palm. The next time I am in town I am buying an actual clay bar kit.
Yeah rubbing compound of some sort should take the white water spots out.
