How often do you guys clay bar and wax your car.

 

I only claybar a couple of times a year. That is really all that is needed unless you live in an area with a lot of contaminants.

I wax 2 0r 3 times a month. It isn't really needed but I like to try out new products and different methods. I know some people that wax every week and others that wax every month. It is really just personal preference.

 

I clay bar twice a year and wax every 2-3 months.

 

i use the clay bar once a month, and wax once a week during summer. make sure you only use micro fibre towels!

 

why only use microfibers? I was just wondering because i clay bared my car then waxed and the week before that i waxed and my friend told me that if i do it to much it will actually ruin the paint.

 

Microfibers are the best towels you can use on paint. Less likely to get swirls and fine scratches with them.

Waxing won't hurt at all. There will be a point where you won't notice a difference after multiple coats.

 

HOLY ****!!! Do you have a lot of free time? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to treat my car like that but I can't find the time.

 

lol never used a clay bar but I have 1. Waxing whenever it needs a perttyyy shine

 

yes microfiber is the way to go it doesnt leave fine scratches like cotton will. and make sure you wash the towels after every use to remove any wax or cleaner residue. i get mine at my local autozone.. 5 towels for 10 bucks

 

clay..like..every 6 months. wax every two weeks or so...
