Default Scratch

Hi all, I just noticed a scratch on my leather drivers seat wherethelumbar is, it is about 3 inches long! it seems like it scratched the top of the skin only. Should I leave it alone, treat it with something?? any suggestions?

Thanks

There are lots of leather repair kits available but they're mostly designed for deep tears and once applied there will be a noticeable line where the repair was made so don't go down that route. I also have scratches that aren't deep (but annoying as hell) and so far I haven't found anything to get rid of the scratches completely. I had an idea of using an extremely fine grit sand paper on the scratch and then use a leather conditioner. That's just an idea but I wouldn't do it to my stang, I'll try it on some leather chair I don't care about and then I'll tell you how that goes. Hopefully someone else has experience with this problemand a solution.

I had a small scratch in my passenger leather seat that I repaired with some "matching" black leather repair, but it ended up being a different color than my seat. Over time it has mellowed though, so now it's barely noticeable.
