brake dust
i have aluminum rims and this winter they got covered in brake dust. i was really lazy cleaning them and now it wont come off. anyone know some tricks. ive tried the wheel cleaners andpolish but some still dosent want to come off. any suggestions?
I own a few firearms and got the notion touse my Break Free CLP gun oil/cleaner. It works great andtakes brake dust right off no problem. I just spray it on a shop towel and wipe my wheels down.
Just be sure to wipe the oil off completely so it's dry otherwise you'll attract more brakedust quickly.
You can buy aerosal spray bottles at Wal-Mart or any gun store.
