Default Alternative to carpet

Just bought my first classic mustang today and I am STOKED. I was thinking that I would do some sort of "spray on" liner rather than carpet. Anyone heard of that or have any experience with it. Feel free to tell me how stupid you think it sounds, but I hate carpet and am looking for an alternative. As u can seeI am also looking for some interior pieces. This carwill probablybe a restomod. Thanks

you raelly need carpet it provides insulation from heat and road noise and probably the only thing less expensive would be to leave it naked

you are right about the heat and road noise, that was brought to my attention after i posted that. Now I am considering Dynamat all over the cabin, but I dont know how affective it is and it will probably be expensive (i'm thinkin about $800.00 forthe material). In addition, adding A/C is going to run me about $1200.00 but I live in Ga. and it gets blazing hot here, not to mention the pollen. Got any experience with Dynamat or something similar?

Tile. Those little tiny tiles like you see in bathrooms. That would be pretty.

So Rhino liner in your Mustang?

Will you be putting a 4x4 kit and winch on the front too?

Why don't you look into heat shielding spray on stuff and coat the undercarrage/firewall? That way you could leave the floors bare metal and have a nice paint job. Just my .02 cents.

All good suggestions However, I think I will go the carpet route, mainly because I have tile in my bathroom and probably cannot get a lawnmower in my car. Thanks anyway. By the way, anyone know of a good classic car insurance?

High temp dynamat and carpet. It is a good sound deadner and reflects heat from high heat areas and adds to the rigidity of the car as a whole...well at least that is what the site proclaims. Please for the love of God use carpet!
