Does the auto window need to disabled while the tint dries and is this even possible? Any how to's would be appreciated. Is 07 the only year that does this?
Thanks in advance.

It can be disabled (how-to in your owner's manual) but I'm not sure if you need to disable it when installing tint. I haven't heard about anyone else on here disabling that when getting tint, so the distance it travels might be short enough that it doesn't matter. Mention the auto up/down to the person doing your tint and see what they say about whether or not you need to disable it.
Also, like Scott07 said, make sure you install moleskin. http://www.tintprotector.com/ You can do it yourself, or maybe get your tint place to install it for you, but that stuff will prevent your tint from scratching (although there are people who've tinted without putting on moleskin, and their tints are fine, so it's not 100% that your tint will scratch without it) so it's a good idea.
Another tip: 20% or darker.
That light *** 35% just doesn't cut it.
Here's what the tint store says. They "trick" the door to think that it is closed. I guess trip the latch. Who knows. That keeps the window up while tinting. Then they heat dry the tint so that the auto drop can operate normally. As far as scratches, the tint comes with a lifetime warranty. I guess It'll be worth lettin a professional do this.
35% rear 20% driver and passenger. Texas law.
Thanks ya'll.

yea my tint came with lifetime warrenty also but these cars do scratch tint just from normal use. Mine were scratched 2-3 weeks after i had them done. I had them retinted under warrenty but this time I installed moleskin which is basically a special felt and they have been perfect since.
The place I had mine done heated the bottom of the tint to cure it so that it would be ok with the auto up and down.
