Hello everyone, I am new to this forum.

I really like Mustang's and would really like to get one (1995-1999) but.... There is one thing about them that just bugs the hell out of me,

The fake side scoops!!!!!

I absolutely HATE these!!! I would like them if they were functional but the idea of just having some fake little chunk of crap that does nothing taped to the side of my car bugs me!!!

Has anyone modified these or done anything to their side scoops? Cut them off, change them? hahah

Hoping to see some replys when I wake up in the morning, Cheers!

 

The bullitt scoops can replace the stock side scoops with the honeycomb inserts.

and the Reverse Scoop hoods can replace the fake GT hood scoops.

those are the only fake ones I know of

I don't mind the idea of scoops not being functional, but I hate the taped on look. I have yet to see a mustang from that year with good looking sidescoops anyway. I personally would pay to have them removed.

 

i have a '95 convertible... i dont really understand the whole concept of the fake side scoops and the tiny hood ones too. i think its pretty dumb but it doesnt bother me
