Default painting inside of headlight

My buddy painted the inside of his headlights, not the chrome right behind the bulb... but everything else and it looks great. Makes it look smoked out, all you do is take off you headlights and heat up the glue and seperate the lense from the housing. Has anyone done this mod?

I have a friend that has done this before. Just take off the headlight and put it in the oven (odd, I know) for a few minutes, and then pull it apart, mask off what you don't want to paint, paint the inside, and then heat it in the oven again to put it back together. This doesn't seem to work with all headlights though, I think the glue is different on some kinds of headlights. It worked on my friend's RSX, but didn't work on his F-150's lights. The glue just wouldn't budge, even with heating it.

I believe it's because different headlight company's use differentmaterial on their headlights. not only do they use different glue they alsousedifferentchemicals on the inside of the lens. Ford used a cheap one around 95 which is why it is common for them to get so foggy.
