Hey guys, I have an 06 mustang, and I got the windows tinted from the dealer about 6 months ago.

Now they just look like crap because of scratches in the tint. I took it to get it retinted, and the guy told me that there is something in my doors scratching the tint off...help please!?

 

Most places have warrenties on there tint(no matter what caused it). The place I am getting my tint has a life time warrenty, even though the tint I am getting is not legal in my state *shh, don't tell anybody though*

 

Did you put on moleskin? (Or have the tinter put it on?)

Scratches in the tint are very common in the S197s because the rubber seal against the window is very tight, and doesn't come with any kind of soft felt protection from the factory.

 

I just called the tint police. Im afraid to tint mine, mostly because of the dots along the top of the back window. I hate the way it looks when the film comes away from around the dots.
