Default How Much?

Does anyone know how much I'd pay for a run of the mill red paintjob on an 85 hatchback Mustang?... Just a ballpark would be awesome! Thanks!

Depends on your location, how detailed you want, how many coats you want, and how much prep work is involved. I think most people price around $2000-5000(unless you go to macco).

I bought my camaro right after the guy had gotten it painted at macco, it only cost like 300 bucks and i gotta admit it still looks really good and that was even like 5 years ago, probably just because it an older car so even a cheap paint job makes it look a lot better than most that are out on the road, but if i was gettin a car like that painted just to spruse it up a little bit not make it a show car i would definetly use macco.

Thanks for the suggestions.. I'm not looking for anything fancy the paint on it is really oxidized right now, and there has been some body work done so it's not even fully painted so I think a paint job will be order in the next couple months..

Ohh, then if you have the time do the roll on method. It's a sticky at the top of this forum.
