Chrome wheel cleaning
I know that when it comes to my cars paint nothing touches it accept for microfibers and sheepskins etc.....
But i was wondering when it comes to chrome wheelshow carefull do you have to be? Can i just take a sponge and soapy water to them or do i need to be more carefull?

just use soap and water...you can use wheel cleaner if you want but be sure to rinse all of it off, continues use will cause bubbling/peeling
if you live near salt (water) or in a humid area then the chrome will peel, crack, and/or bubble eventually [&o] i live near the gulf [:@]

I use one of those orange foam buffer wheels on my drill and it polishes the heck outta them and does it fast. TOTALLY worth it. I used my cordless but it simply was too slow (14.4v) compared to the wired one.
soap and water ...i always use a fresh bucket of soap and water..after washing my car...then dry ..and then every 2 weeks or so i will polish them with the Mothers chrome polish and i use the mini ball...works really well...and as u can see in my sig theyre taken care of
